Mary Carrig is a classically trained actress, director, teacher and producer.  She earned a B.A. in Speech Communication as a theatre major at Bowling Green State University.  Mary has trained extensively with Shakespeare and Company in Lenox, Massachusetts.  Her stage credits range from Arthur Miller to Neil Simon as well as classic farce, commedia del art and world premieres of new works.  Some of her roles include Portia in the Merchant of Venice, Viola in Twelfth Night, Flavius in Timon of Athens, Sharlotta in The Cherry Orchard, Olga in Three Sisters and Gabby Maple in The Petrified Forest.  Mary is currently artistic director of Conejo Valley Shakespeare Society.

Ms. Carrig recently directed "The Somewhat True Tale of Robin Hood" for the Young Artists Ensemble at the Hillcrest Center for the Arts in Thousand Oaks, California.  The production included actors with disabilities from Conejo Theatre for Everyone's Therapeutic Unit.

As a member of the Conejo Historical Society, Mary directed the original drama "Our Towns on the Conejo", written by Elaine Williams.  "Our Towns on the Conejo" included a cast of 38 actors and was performed in 2009 and 2010 at the Stagecoach Inn Museum Complex in Newbury Park, California.

Ms. Carrig's television credits include the recurring role of Natalie on the Young & the Restless, Passions, the Bold & the Beautiful, Criminal Minds and Make it or Break it for ABC FAMILY.  She co-wrote, produced and directed the short film "Dispensing Justice II" with Julie Kochinski.
